The upmarket furniture and artistic interior mixes perfectly in keeping with its location: sun-kissed open plan living, dining and kitchen area with bar, cooking island and a hobby chef’s array of pots, pans and appliances.

In summer you can open up all the sliding doors to make the house even bigger and spend your day on the huge patio and shady entertainment area or in our boma braai which itself is an invitation to entertain your family and friends for a braai.

Or how about curling up in winter in front of the fireplace whilst looking into the garden through the huge windows and enjoying a glass of fine wine which awaits you upon your arrival.

The house is perfectly located between the famous Saturday’s Greyton Morning Market (that shouldn’t be missed) and the Nature Reserve. A lovely private garden with citrus trees, mountain views and a boma braai will spoil your soul and make you wish to stay forever.

Therefore, to really appreciate the beauty of the surroundings and to experience Greyton at its best, a 2-night stay is recommended.

WHAT IS PROVIDED:

• WIFI
• A solar/inverter/battery system to back-up fridge/freezer, lights and WIFI.
• Bed linen and towels.
• Fully equipped kitchen (including coffee machine, plunger, iron and iron board, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwashing machine and washing machine).
• Coffee, tea, sugar and milk powder.
• If you enjoy cooking feel free to use the spices (located in the pull-out unit of the cooking island), as well as all basics such as vinegar, oil, flour etc.
• Next to all relevant cooking utensils, also placemats, paper serviettes and foil etc. can be found in the kitchen drawers and may be used.
• A hair dryer in both bathrooms.
• A selection of indoor and outdoor games in the “cow cupboard”.
• An outdoor braai and outside dining area. (There is a stump next to the Wendy House which you can use to chop wood on. Please do not do so on the living room floor, stoep or the paving as this will only damage it! Braai tools are in the kitchen, in the drawers left and in chest right side of the cooking island).
• Outside lounge area and two wooden deck chairs (The cushions for the couches and seats on the stoep are visible inside in case our cleaner has not put them out due to weather conditions. The cushions for the wooden deck chairs are hidden behind the big sofa inside.)
• A day pack (if you want to go for walks and have picnic somewhere or just for shopping at the Greyton Saturday Market) in the kitchen corner cupboard.
• Indoor free-standing fireplace
• Underfloor heating in all rooms (apart from the two bathrooms).

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE UNDERFLOOR HEATING IS NOT CONNECTED TO THE SOLARSYSTEM AS IT WOULD DRAIN THE BATTERY IN NO TIME.

Rates per night

R3250 for the house for 2 guests.

R150 per person thereafter up to 6 guests.

Surcharge of R500 if staying only 1 night.

50% deposit and R750 damage deposit payable to confirm booking, balance payable 7 days before arrival.

Arrival and Departure

Check in after 2pm, but we are happy to arrange earlier, if possible

Check out before 2pm, but we are happy if you leave only late afternoon, if there are no guests on the following day

Restrictions

• Pets are not allowed (sorry, no exceptions as we had previous bad experiences).
• Smoking inside the house is not permitted.
