Choose between one of our farmstyle cottages or bring your own camping gear to suit your budget. Your time at Oewerzicht should include dining at one of Greyton’s restaurants, surrounding farms in the Overberg area and just outside of Greyton Lismore Farm Estate, by appointment, mountain-biking on some of the top trails in the region, or hiking, swimming and just putting your feet up over a braai and glass of local wine in one of the most beautiful rural settings in the Western Cape. Oewerzicht truly is your ultimate Overberg experience.

Six (6) Newly renovated Stone Cottages (situated on the banks of the Sonderend river)

There are 6 units in total. They have one bedroom with a King size bed, en-suite bathrooms fire places in the bedroom.
There is a kitchen with an under roof braai area and a deck with a private wood fired hot tub.

Oewerzicht provides bedding, towels, firewood (R30/bag),ice (R15/bag) as well as a braai grid.
Please bring your own food, swimming towels, fire lighters and matches.

Besides the 6 Stone Cottages we now have a brand new Stone House. Situated in the middle of the 6 Stone Cottages. Stone House has two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a big fully equipped kitchen with inside braai, dining area and lounge area. A undercover outside area with outside dining area, pizza oven, wood fired hot tub and a fire pit

There are three (3) farm style cottages (situated about 50 meters from the river):

Bergzicht, Welgelee and Citrus.

Bergzicht and Welgelee are semi-detached and both have one bedroom with a double bed and two single beds in the living area. Both these cottages have an indoor and outdoor braai area, as well as a lovely and spacious verandah. These cottages accommodate 4 people each. Welgelee has its own private wood fired hot tub

Citrus has one queen size bed in the main bedroom and an en-suite bathroom, and a double bed and 2 single beds in one bedroom. The double bed is a sunken bed in a room that is reached by climbing through a ‘hole in the wall’, which is great for kids and youngsters, but might not suite an elderly couple or those looking for privacy. There is a separate small flatlet at the back with a queen size bed and an en-suite bathroom. Altogether Citrus can accommodate 6-8 people. The cottage has a fireplace, an outside braai area and a large verandah for entertaining. Private wood fired hot tub on the verandah

There are four (4) Uitsig cottages overlooking the river and mountains:

Four (4) Uitsig cottages are situated on the hill (about 300 meters from the river) and with panoramic views of the Riviersonderend mountain range.
All the Uitsig cottages have a living room, two bedrooms (one with a queen size bed and en-suite, one with two single beds), and separate bathrooms, indoor as well as outdoor braai facilities. The cottages have a communal plunge pool (next to Uitsig 1).

All 4 Uitsig cottages have their own wood-fired hot tub on the patio see Hot Tubs above.

This is a sheep farm, so owners will be held liable for all damage done to animals, dogs to be kept on leads at all times.
