Misty Meadow is in the enchanting Oak Street, looking out at the mountains over a natural swimming pool, the central feature of a large and pretty garden, with dozens of roses, lemon trees, lavender and shade. One of Greyton’s most charming cottages, it has been restored to provide modern comforts and spacious indoor/outdoor living areas yet has lost none of its original character. The lounge and dining room are beautifully furnished, opening out onto a wide verandah to enjoy summer days, or warmed by a large wood burner for winter nights of local red wine and conversation. There is also an outdoor fireplace for spring and autumn, with comfy furniture.

Gather around the pool table or the outdoor braai and switch off to modern stress. Guests can eat inside or outside. Misty Meadow is an easy stroll to the quirky shops and variety of restaurants in Greyton. The Saturday morning country market is a must.
The main bedroom upstairs is en-suite, with a large victorian bath and lots of space. The bedroom opens onto its own landing for quiet reading time. Downstairs their are two twin bedrooms, sleeping two people each. The larger bedroom has its own patio and small wood burner. These two bedrooms share a bathroom with bath and the choice of an indoor or completely private outdoor shower. There is a guest toilet. Two extra people, preferably children, can be accommodated on Snooza beds.
Linen is crisp white cotton. Bath and swimming towels are provided.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge, gas hob, electric oven, kettle, toaster, microwave and coffee plunger. All crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are supplied. There is a washing machine in the garage. A bonus for guests is the supply of three bicycles. Wood is also provided. There is plenty of off-street parking.

Two night minimum stay (3 nights for long weekends), No smoking or loud music please. Swimming pool is unfenced and used at guests’ own risk. Guests will be met by a house manager who will also collect the keys at the end of the stay and will be available over the weekend if needed.
