Greyton Toad Hall
Entire place, Private room
16 guests • 8 bedrooms • 10 beds • 8 baths

Greyton Toad Hall is a new addition to the accommodation scene after being sympathetically restored by its new owner. 1855 saw the first building on the site, with a larger clay house built in 1862 which still stands- replete with its thatched roof, 18m stoep on the best corner in town ready for you to laze on the lounges and watch the passing horses.

Extremely centrally located with all bars, restaurants and shops within a 30 second walking distance. To add to this- it boasts the largest pool in Greyton- a whopping 10 by 5 m salt water extravaganza replete with a resident hand painted toad in its depths.

The recent addition of inverters and solar panels means guests are not affected by load shedding. The 2000 square metre garden is full of socializing areas with hanging egg chairs, lounges, tables, braais and wood fired pizza oven. Add a hot tub in the mix, and you may want to never check out!

THE SPACE

Individual rooms can be rented, or the entire place can also be rented out. Aside from the 8 bedrooms (all with their own private entrance off the gardens except for the honeymoon suite which is inside the house) , there is also a basic dorm room with an additional 4 beds for groups of 20.

You are in a very tranquil , fully walled garden setting- and with full use of the stoep at the front of the house which is arguably the best in town to watch the action! Just opposite The Post House Hotel Coffee Hub- you can pick up a cappuccino, or visit 4U on the opposite corner and pick up breakfast, and bring to the garden or stoep to enjoy.

The hot tub is only on by prior arrangement (24 hours needed) as it takes 8 hours to heat up. One bag of wood is provided per room. Additional bags can be bought on site using an honesty system.
